We are approaching the year marker of COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic. It is important now more than ever to continue the safety and health guidelines put into place by our local, state, and national health agencies.
As the Medical Director for the Guilford County Division of Public Health, I want my local community to continue practicing the 3W’s if they choose to go out in public.
Always keep in mind when going out in public:
• Wear a face covering
• Wait 6 feet apart and avoid close contact
• Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
Things are changing every day and we now have two vaccines approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). While data and other information on the virus is updated frequently, there is still so much learn.
We all must take steps to work together to keep our family, friends, and loved ones safe.
